First race under our belts! This morning we were greeted with a nice surprise of flat water, unfortunately, it was hidden under very dense fog. Officials patrolled the race course and after a thirty minute delay, Gevvie and I were allowed on the lake to warm up for our race. The purpose of the time trial is to seed the following races. So each boat races one at a time separated by 20 second intervals. We had a solid race and are happy with our 2nd place result.

We now advance to the semi-finals tomorrow morning and will need a top three finish to advance to the A Final on Sunday!
