It racing time again! After training for the past two weeks in Boston, Gevvie and I drove down to Princeton, NJ yesterday in preparation for National Selection Regatta Two (NSR2). The winners of this race earn the right to compete at a World Cup this summer and to qualify for the 2014 World Championships in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Racing starts tomorrow (Thursday) with a time trial at 7:30am EST. Gevvie and I are starting 9th out of 10 boats. All crews will advance from the time trial and the placings will seed the semis on Friday.
Besides racing, we are staying with another awesome host family. They have an absolutely beautiful home and a very cute corgi, Amelia who is keeping us entertained while we are not at the race course!
