And here we go!  Tomorrow morning is the first race of the National Selection Regatta One (NSR1).  This race marks the first event for qualifying a boat for the World Championships this summer in Amsterdam.   I am racing in the W1x at 7am in a time trial format- meaning that we will go off one at a time every 20 seconds.  This allows the race organizers to seed us for the afternoon heats.

The forecast right now is predicting very windy conditions.  That is pretty common for this race and should be an fun extra element to work with while fine tuning the optimal race plan and execution.
