Back in New Jersey! Last Thursday, my teammates and I arrived in Princeton, NJ in preparation for National Selection Regatta One (NSR1). Coach Dan drove this beast across country carrying all our boats, oars and supplies for the regatta.
We are all settled at our awesome host family’s house. Alex Morss, one our lightweight women has grandparents that have opened their beautiful home to us.
And they even have a dog- Angus!
We spent the first two days rowing in Camden. A big thank you to Nikki Bourassa, another one of our lightweights, and Camden County Boathouse for letting us get on the water.
We are finally all set up at Mercer and ready to rock! Racing kicks off Thursday with a time trial in the morning and heats in the afternoon!
